This is difficult to describe in words when you're new at wine tasting. A certain smell may be very strong, and have hints of other smells. The art of tasting the wine is naturally the art of wine-making itself. There are various wine regions in the United States, as well as in Europe, offer opportunities to taste their wines. These are usually free. Tasting wine has turned in an appreciated career for some wine taster nowadays. You can get the smell of the wine when molecules are released by swirling your wine. Then you can smell the aroma. Then take a quick smell and form your initial impression and take final deeper aroma. Sit back and contemplate the aroma.

The most important quality of wine is balance between sweetness and acidity. Get the full taste. Follow these steps-

- Initial taste- First impression! Your senses awaken. Your taste buds respond.

- Taste again- Slosh the wine around your mouth. Draw in some air. You may look funny. Taste the body and texture. How you are feeling, light or rich or it is smooth or harsh?

- The finishing touch - The taste remains in your mouth after the wine is swallowed. Taste will go for last. Certainly you will feel pleasant.

After tasting the wine, take a moment. Think of its overall flavor and balance. Is the taste appropriate for that type of wine? If the wine is very dry, is it supposed to be?

Taste many different wines. Pay attention when you taste each wine. You will become knowledgeable. You will enjoy their various characteristics.
